General Farm Worker (Maple Ridge)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in crop cultivation, maintenance, and farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming. We also have cattle to be fed and cared for. Duties - Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops - Operate and maintain farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently - Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems and farm equipment - Use hand tools for planting, pruning, and other horticultural tasks - Conduct general farm upkeep including cleaning, repairs, and equipment inspections - Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, produce, or equipment as needed - Monitor crop health and report any issues related to pests or disease - Follow safety protocols during all farming activities to ensure a safe working environment Skills - Knowledge of farm maintenance procedures and basic repair skills - Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping - Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods - Familiarity with hand tools used in farming operations We are looking for youth age 15 to 30 who are authorized to work in Canada Pay: $22.00 per hour Perks: - Casual dress - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o4pqa
