Job Summary -Contract Pet Groomer Needed — Commission Split We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team, providing qualified grooming services to pets while ensuring a positive experience for both animals and their owners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various grooming tasks efficiently. Duties - Bathe, dry, and brush pets to ensure cleanliness and comfort - Trim and style fur according to breed standards or owner preferences - Maintain grooming tools and equipment in clean and working condition - Monitor pets during grooming for signs of distress or health issues - Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting larger or heavier animals safely - Ensure a safe and sanitary work environment by following proper hygiene protocols Skills - Experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling larger animals - Compassionate, patient, and attentive to animals’ needs during grooming procedures - Valuable physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks - Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results - Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining safety standards This position is ideal for individuals passionate about animal care who enjoy working with pets and providing excellent service.
