Responsibilities include: - Onsite supervision of daily operations and assigned staff to ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, with a high level of quality and within budgets. - Direct personnel and resources toward providing quality, efficient services to clients. - Equipment operation. - Manage job budgets to ensure that work is completed within time and material constraints. - Manage onsite production for our high-quality services. Execute production using best management practices while working efficiently and safely at all times; - Ensure all employees are provided with necessary training and safety requirements as well as the right tools, equipment and materials to complete tasks efficiently. - Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures including equipment care, safety programs and general productivity/behavior expectations. - Ensure all field communication is thorough, accurate and timely. Position requirements: - Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada with or without sponsorship. - 3+ years field experience in landscape installation, renovation and/or maintenance with the ability to lead a team and ensure completion of all required job assignments within budget. - Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally, be able to bend, stoop and twist continuously. Must be able to safely use hand tools such as a shovel or rake for extended periods of time. - Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required). - Ability to work in extreme conditions (temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
