General Farm Worker Maple Ridge

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in crop cultivation, maintenance, and farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming. We also have cattle to be fed and cared for. Duties Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops Operate and maintain farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems and farm equipment Use hand tools for planting, pruning, and other horticultural tasks Conduct general farm upkeep including cleaning, repairs, and equipment inspections Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, produce, or equipment as needed Monitor crop health and report any issues related to pests or disease Follow safety protocols during all farming activities to ensure a safe working environment Skills Knowledge of farm maintenance procedures and basic repair skills Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Familiarity with hand tools used in farming operations We are looking for youth age 15 to 30 who are authorized to work in Canada Pay: $22.00 per hour Perks: Casual dress In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ojakg
