Bartender, Fort Langley

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in maintaining smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.

Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.

Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all sales are recorded properly.

Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain stock.

Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.

Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all customers.

Experience

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.

Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.

Strong cash handling skills and experience with POS systems are highly desirable.

Basic math skills are necessary for managing tabs and processing payments accurately.

Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently while maintaining quality service.

A background in customer service or food service is beneficial, showcasing your ability to interact positively with guests.
