PN Instructor | Maple Ridge, BC

Practical Nurse Instructor– Maple Ridge BC campus This position will teach laboratory and clinical skills to nursing students, with 28‑35 hours per week. Successful candidates may lead to future instructional opportunities and advance their educational careers.

Rate Range $33 to $35/hour. CAD. Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 8:00 am to 2:30 pm plus 2 hours of office hours per week.

Start Date September 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality instruction in lab and clinical settings.

Execute lesson plans using preset curriculum that aligns with PTIRU compliance (extensive in‑house curriculum orientation and training provided).

Provide hands‑on training and supervision in clinical environments.

Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education.

Qualifications

Minimum 3,900 hours of nursing experience, inclusive of maternity, mental health, or acute care.

Current full registration with the BCCNM as an LPN, RN, or RDPN– required.

Previous instructor experience is an asset.

Experience with Office 365 and Student Information Systems (SIS) is an asset.

Strong communication and mentorship skills.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.

Commitment to fostering a positive educational experience.

Ability to travel to local sites within the region.
