Construction Site Supervisor (Pitt Meadows)

Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and manage a solar project in Pitt Meadows, BC from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, experience working with concrete, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role offers an opportunity to grow leadership skills, ensure project quality, and maintain safety standards on-site. The Site Supervisor will play a critical role in coordinating day-to-day activities, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Duties - Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications - Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials - Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet project deadlines - Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite activities - Manage site safety protocols and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working setting - Oversee budgeting activities related to labor, materials, and equipment usage - Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders - Lead troubleshooting efforts for on-site issues related to design or construction challenges Qualifications - Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately - Prior experience setting and finishing concrete - Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations (OSHA compliance) - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong leadership capabilities with effective communication skills for team coordination - Familiarity with budgeting processes within construction projects This position offers a dynamic work environment where leadership and technical expertise are valued.
