As a **Senior Mechanical Engineer** within our **Property & Buildings M&E; team** , you will lead complex HVAC and plumbing designs, influence multidisciplinary project outcomes, and mentor the next generation of engineersu2014while working on some of the most technically advanced facilities in Canada. This role is based in **Thornhill or Downtown Toronto** . **Your Impact** Lead the mechanical design of HVAC, heating/cooling plants, plumbing, and fire protection systems for new and retrofit projects. Deliver highu2011quality technical reports, drawings, and specifications aligned with codes and client standards. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. Coordinate seamlessly with structural, electrical, architectural, and offshore design teams. Review and approve mechanical designs to ensure quality, constructability, and performance. Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives. **The Skills That Set You Apart** Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering with **10+ years** of consulting experience in building systems design. **Licensed Professional Engineer (PEO)** in Ontario. Advanced expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for complex facilities. Minimum **5 yearsu2019 experience** delivering **Data Centre** or **Science / Laboratory / Pharmaceutical** projects in Canada. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary mechanical design teams. Strong proficiency in **Revit, IES, and HAP** or equivalent mechanical design tools. Solid understanding of applicable codes, standards, and sustainable design principles (LEED an asset).
