Construction Site Supervisor Pitt Meadows

Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and manage a solar project in Pitt Meadows, BC from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, experience working with concrete, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role offers an opportunity to grow leadership skills, ensure project quality, and maintain safety standards on-site. The Site Supervisor will play a critical role in coordinating day-to-day activities, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Duties Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet project deadlines Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite activities Manage site safety protocols and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment Oversee budgeting activities related to labor, materials, and equipment usage Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders Lead troubleshooting efforts for in office issues related to design or construction challenges Qualifications Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a solid understanding of construction management practices Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately Prior experience setting and finishing concrete Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations (OSHA compliance) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong leadership capabilities with effective communication skills for team coordination Familiarity with budgeting processes within construction projects This position offers a energetic work environment where leadership and technical expertise are valued.
