Warehouse Associate / Receiver / Seed Bagger
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical work? In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping the stores stocked with high-quality products by receiving, handling, and repackaging inventory with care and precision. This is a physically active, detail-focused role that supports both warehouse operations and retail supply needs.Responsibilities
Receiving&Inventory Handling
Receive incoming shipments, primarily large bags Verify deliveries against transfer paperwork for accuracy Unload, move, and organize heavy bags (up to 50 lbs) using safe lifting techniques and equipment Inspect incoming product for quality, damage, or spoilage
Repackaging&Preparation
Repackage bulk shipments into smaller retail-sized bags Accurately weigh and measure product to meet specified weights Seal and label bags with correct product information (type, weight, etc.) Maintain consistency, accuracy, and product quality throughout the process
Warehouse Organization&Maintenance
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Dispose of packaging materials and waste appropriately Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
Inventory Support
Assist with inventory tracking and stock level monitoring Report shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns Support regular stock counts and inventory audits Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to ensure proper stock rotation
Team Support
Collaborate with warehouse and store teams to ensure smooth product flow Assist with general operational tasks as needed across the business Occasionally support store operations during peak periods
Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Basic math skills for weighing and measuring product Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced setting Strong time management and reliability Willingness to follow safety procedures and operational guidelinesPositive attitude and team-oriented mindset Flexibility to work occasional weekends, holidays, or evenings if required Ability to commute to Thornhill, ON or plan relocation before starting work (preferred) Other
