Painter’s Helper/Painter (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Overview Revive Painting is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Painting Prep Helper / Labourer to assist with residential painting and deck refinishing projects. This is a part-time, project-based position to start, with the potential for more consistent work for the right person. The main focus will be sanding, masking, surface preparation, jobsite protection, cleanup, and general support on interior and exterior painting projects. This is a good opportunity for someone who is dependable, physically capable, careful in clients’ homes, and interested in learning more about the painting trade. Painting or construction experience is helpful, but not required. Responsibilities - Assist with sanding, scraping, cleaning, masking, and surface preparation - Help protect floors, furniture, landscaping, siding, windows, doors, and surrounding surfaces - Assist with pressure washing setup and cleanup on exterior/deck projects - Carry and organize tools, ladders, materials, drop sheets, and supplies - Help keep jobsites clean, protected, and organized throughout the workday - Perform light painting tasks only when directed and after proper instruction - Follow instructions carefully and maintain professional behaviour on residential jobsites - Work safely around ladders, tools, dust, coatings, and exterior jobsite conditions Requirements - Must have reliable transportation to get to different job sites - Must be dependable and show up on time - Comfortable with physical work, sanding, masking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors - Able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail - Respectful and professional when working in and around clients’ homes - Comfortable working around ladders and basic hand/power tools - Painting, construction, renovation, or labour experience is an asset, but not required Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2na7p1
