Heavy Duty Cleaner (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Overview Industry leading construction cleaning company with 30+ years is seeking dedicated and experienced Full time Cleaning personnel to join our team to work in our Construction Cleaning Division. Motivation to work and reliability is a must! Duties - Construction/final cleaning and maintenance of floors and areas at construction sites across the GTA/Toronto. - Tasks include washing windows, wiping kitchen cabinets and vanities, mopping, vacuuming, and garbage removal. - Complete final cleans of office areas, washrooms, parking garages, lobbies, mechanical and electrical rooms, and other areas as per scope of work. - Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment such as buffing, stripping, and waxing would be a asset. - Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. - Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Location: - Various construction sites in Toronto and the GTA Salary: - Start $21.50/hour - Biweekly Payroll, Paid via direct deposit. Requirements: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) All workers must provide and wear CSA-approved PPE at all times, including: - Safety boots Six-inch green patch, with lace (slip-on boots not permitted). - Hard Hat with chin strap - Hi-vis vest (orange or yellow with reflective stripes). - CSA-approved safety glasses. - Work gloves appropriate to the hazards of the task. Safety Training Records: - WHIMS - Health and Safety 4 Steps - Working at Heights (completed within the last 3 years) Experience - 1 to 2 years of Janitorial or construction cleaning experience - Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
