Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in plumbing systems, along with a solid understanding of related trades. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Candidates should be comfortable working with various tools and schematics, capable of heavy lifting, and able to interpret blueprints effectively. A valid commercial driver’s license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment to job sites. Duties - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately - Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, assemble, and install plumbing components - Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on job sites - Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work - Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing systems and implement effective solutions - Follow safety protocols and building codes during all phases of installation and repair work - Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used Qualifications - Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within construction or maintenance environments - Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems - Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and read blueprints or schematics accurately - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs - Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments requiring manual labor - Strong understanding of construction standards, safety procedures, and building codes - Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate commercial vehicles preferred but not required - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in quick-paced settings This position is essential for ensuring the integrity of plumbing systems across our projects while maintaining high safety standards.
