Nurse Practitioner Helping Hands Healthcare Canada Markham ON Helping Hands Healthcare is looking for highly professional, experienced Nurse Practitioner qualified to provide direct care to patients. We are presently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a high functioning inter-skilled team as a maternity leave, Nurse Practitioner with a specialized focus on our geriatric patient population. Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN (HC), in Primary Care Member of RNAO or NPAO with qualified liability insurance Masters of Science in Nursing (MScN) or Masters of Nursing (MN) Successful completion of a recognized Primary Care or Adult Nurse Practitioner program Basic CPR Demonstrated knowledge and experience with promoting evidence-based practices and developing and implementing innovative patient care practices Demonstrated clinical leadership within an inter-professional team Excellent written and oral communication skills Advanced knowledge and skills with a multi-system focus in physical assessment, consultative support and evaluation specific to the care of patients with complex medical and functional conditions Position Overview: You will be working with 5 other physicians in this urgent care clinic. Main duty will be helping to source, organize and troubleshoot patient appointments. Looking for coverage 2 days a week either a 8-4pm or 9-5pm shift. Ready to Make a Difference? Apply Now!
