Part-Time Sleep Consultants (Markham)

Job Overview Are you passionate about helping people improve their health and quality of life? We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Sleep Consultant to join our team on a part time basis (Saturday & Sunday) In this role, you will be the primary guide for patients transitioning to CPAP therapy, ensuring they feel confident, comfortable, and supported as they start their journey toward better sleep. Key Responsibilities - Patient Setup & Education: Conduct one-on-one sessions to set up CPAP/BiPAP equipment and explain device functionality. - Mask Fitting: Utilize your expertise to select and fit the ideal mask interface based on patient anatomy and breathing preferences. - Clinical Compliance: Monitor patient usage data via cloud-based platforms (e.g., AirView or Care Orchestrator) and troubleshoot adherence issues. - Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for equipment malfunctions or comfort adjustments (e.g., pressure settings, humidification). - Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with prescribing physicians and insurance providers. Qualifications - Experience: Previous experience in sleep medicine, respiratory therapy, or DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is highly preferred. - Skills: Exceptional "bedside manner" with the ability to explain complex medical instructions in simple, encouraging terms. - Technical Savvy: Comfort using patient management software and cloud-monitoring tools. - Credentials: CRT, RRT, or RPSGT credentials are a significant plus, but we are open to experienced Sleep Techs or Medical Assistants with specific CPAP backgrounds. - Languages: Prefer Cantonese and Mandarin speakers.
