Ontario. The Site Quality Inspector provides fieldbased Quality Assurance support during construction, with a strong focus on site presence, field inspections, and working directly with contractor QC teams to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved requirements. The role supports the delivery of construction quality in the field through regular site surveillance, verification of work against approved ITPs, early identification of quality issues, and confirmation that work is complete and acceptable before it is closed out. The position plays a key role in supporting progressive system mechanical completion. Responsibilities: Field Inspections & Surveillance Maintain regular site presence during active construction. Perform field inspections and surveillance of civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation activities. Verify work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs. Witness selected hold and witness points as defined by the QA plan. Identify quality issues early and work with contractor QC to address them before work is closed or covered. Contractor Engagement Work directly with contractor QC teams to support consistent application of quality requirements. Verify that inspections and tests are being performed as planned. Raise and escalate quality concerns when workmanship or process deficiencies are observed. NCR & Corrective Action Support Support review of NCRs and corrective actions. Verify corrective actions have been implemented effectively in the field. Identify recurring issues and quality trends. Documentation & Turnover Support Review ITRs, test packs, and quality documentation for completeness and alignment with field conditions. Support progressive system walkdowns. Support readiness activities for Mechanical Completion, RFO, and PSSR. General Support audits and regulatory inspections as required. Maintain explicit field observation and QA records. What you will bring: Technical and Industry Experience: Minimum 6 years industrial construction experience. Strong background in mechanical, piping, or E&I;, with multidiscipline field exposure. Familiar with ITPs, NCRs, construction turnover, and system completion. Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: A bachelors degree is required.
