Experienced Painters (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces and components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. This role requires mechanical knowledge, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. The Painter will contribute to the production of durable, visually appealing products while maintaining efficiency and safety protocols. Responsibilities - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure proper paint adhesion - Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or other tools - Follow detailed work instructions and specifications to meet quality standards - Inspect finished work for consistency, coverage, and surface defects - Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials - Able to run your own job sites with minimal supervision - Adhere to safety procedures including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of power tools and welding equipment - Minimum of 3-5 years experience Skills - Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cranes, and forklifts - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting projects - Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently - Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes - Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing or mechanical work who are looking to develop their skills in painting and finishing processes within a dynamic team environment.
