CNC Machinist & Technical Support Specialist (Markham)

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of advanced CNC-based systems. This is a hands-on role that combines machining expertise with technical problem-solving, client interaction, and field support. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, detail-oriented, and confident working with complex CNC equipment in both production and client-facing environments. Key Responsibilities - Meet with potential and existing clients to understand technical issues, machine requirements, and service needs - Provide troubleshooting support and assist clients with machine-related concerns both on-site and remotely - Support other client-related activities including follow-ups, machine demonstrations, service coordination, and technical consultations - Operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machinery and related systems - Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and implement effective solutions - Support installation, maintenance, and servicing of CNC equipment - Assist with both on-site (GTA) and remote client troubleshooting when required - Conduct video-based diagnostics and collaborate with suppliers or technical teams - Work with specialized machine components such as sensors, clamps, and cutting tools (training provided) - Ensure machines are running efficiently and meeting performance standards - Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and machine performance - Provide professional technical support to clients when needed Job Requirements - Experience as a CNC Machinist or in CNC machine operation/maintenance - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine specifications - Hands-on experience with CNC equipment setup, operation, or repair - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients and technical teams - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting Nice to Have - Millwright certification or formal CNC training (asset, not required) - Experience in field service or equipment maintenance - Exposure to precision machining or automated systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ogi4y
