Operations Manager – Boutique Commercial Suites The Opportunity: Are you a high-energy operator who thrives at the intersection of real estate and entrepreneurship? We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee a unique, high-growth portfolio of turnkey beauty suites across three prime locations in the GTA. This isn’t traditional property management—this is managing a community of 80+ small businesses where "business uptime" is the priority. You will be the bridge between physical space and commercial success. The Role: · Active Ownership & Leasing: You are the face of the brand for 80+ (growing to 93) ambitious beauty professionals. Beyond daily operations, you will lead leasing efforts to keep occupancy near or at 100%, conducting tours and onboarding recent ambitious beauty professionals. · Multi-Site Management: You will be responsible for the seamless 3 locations requiring driving between sites to ensure brand standards and facility health are maintained. · Rapid Response: You manage the "urgency" of small business needs, distinguishing between critical maintenance and operational inconveniences. This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability for after-hours emergencies to ensure our tenants' businesses never stop. · Hybrid Management: Overseeing everything from technical facility needs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to the "soft" side of tenant relations and community management. · System Optimization: Implementing better workflows to ensure response times meet the demands of a fast-paced retail environment. Who You Are: · Problem Solver: You have a background in property management and/or hospitality, but you think like a business owner. You possess the common sense to find practical solutions to complex problems on the fly. · Business Acumen: You understand the "bottom line." You can balance providing a premium tenant experience with the financial realities of property operations and vendor management. · Expert Communicator & Diplomat: You possess strong fluency in oral and written English. You can draft skilled notices, negotiate with vendors, and speak authoritatively to stakeholders. You can also de-escalate high-stress situations with small business owners who view every minor issue as a threat to their livelihood · Proactive: You take initiative. You don’t wait for a work order to tell you a lightbulb is out in the common area. · Experience: 5 - 10 years in commercial property management, co-working space management, or high-end hospitality operations. · Attention to Detail: You will be required to work process, intake, and meet the demands from multiple business owners with accuracy and precision. You will also be working with and supported by software designed to address operational issues with the building and businesses along with the company's accounting team to ensure operational and financial optimization.
