Beauty Specialist, Markham

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the center of everything you do.

Duties&Responsibilities

Sales expectations: Maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs.

Possess a“selling is fun” attitude.

Promote sales of beauty products and through the PC Optimum program.

Customer Service

Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers.

Always put the customer first and provide superior customer service.

Actively model desired behaviors with eClienteling to provide superior service.

Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program.

Actively promote and book appointments for in-store events.

Operations

Exhibit and promote the company’s products and services.

Attend vendor schools and workshops/education sessions.

Adhere to cosmetics operating standards.

General

Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Comply with all store policies and procedures.

Comply with loss prevention policies and ensure they are executed in the department.

Act professionally at all times.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Independent thinking and decision-making ability.

Sales skills in cosmetics.

Experience

Proven consultative skills to provide information.

Sales experience with a proven track record.

Good knowledge of various beauty products and services available.

Ability to conduct sit-down makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate application.

Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to climb ladder.

Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
