Job Overview We are seeking a personable and efficient Bartender to join our agile hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Use POS systems like Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Manage cash transactions accurately, including handling tips and processing payments. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and adhere to legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure productive service during busy hours. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality, especially in a bar or restaurant setting. Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately. Understanding of food safety and food handling procedures. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal requirements regarding alcohol service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
