Job Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations in a multi-shift converting environment in
Etobicoke. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, throughput, schedule discipline, safety, people development, and operational stability. The successful candidate will spend substantial time on the production floor working directly with supervisors, adjusters, operators, quality, maintenance, and scheduling teams to drive performance and solve problems. We are looking for a practical, hands-on manufacturing leader who is comfortable in a fast-moving production setting and capable of building accountability and technical capability across the plant. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day plant operations across multiple shifts Drive throughput, schedule attainment, and operational performance Coach and develop supervisors, operators, and production teams Monitor KPIs including efficiency, downtime, spoilage, and productivity Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives Partner cross-functionally with Scheduling, Maintenance, HR, and Customer
Service What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience Solid background in packaging, converting, printing, paper, or related manufacturing environments Proven ability to lead hourly production teams in a high-volume environment Hands-on leadership style with robust floor presence Practical problem solver with a sense of urgency and accountability Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience is an asset NOTE: This in no ways states or implies that these are the only responsibilities of this position.
