Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the DC Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the warehouse and production areas. This role ensures that inventory is accurately received, organized, and distributed to support daily operations. You will work closely with all DC personnel to maintain accurate stock levels, fulfill orders, and ensure timely deliveries and a positive customer experience. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate material‑handling equipment with a valid license are key to success in this role.Specific Accountabilities
Equipment Operation: Experience with warehouse equipment such as Electric Order Picker and Reach Truck, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is beneficial for safely moving and storing products. Must be able to efficiently operate an Order Picker or Reach Truck for the course of an entire shift length. Data Entry and Technological Proficiency: Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for tracking inventory and processing orders.Must be able to efficiently operate an Order Picker or Pallet Putaway Machine for the course of an entire shift length. Experience in unloading, sorting, put away, picking, replenishing, shipping and maintaining the cleanliness of the work environment and general warehouse duties as assigned. Must be able to mainly work independently with guidance from the warehouse supervisor as requested, prepare products for shipment, and receive incoming products to achieve warehouse goals set by supervisors.Safely lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Perform frequent and repetitive movements, including pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, as part of daily operations. Adhere to all safety protocols and ergonomic best practices to ensure a safe working environment. Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, order pickers, and other equipment to move large quantities of apparel or DC supplies.Operate comfortably within the Warehouse Management System to complete inventory transfers and stock moves. Carry out duties in compliance with legislative responsibilities, company guidelines, and procedures regarding operation of powered equipment. Follow and adhere to safe operation of machines by completing pre‑operation inspection, equipment care (including but not limited to signing in/out forklifts, safety checks, parking, harnesses and protective equipment, removing debris from path), and general operation.Other duties as assigned Job Requirements
Possess a valid Forklift Operator's License (Order Picker/Reach Truck/Dock Stocker) Must be legally able to work in Canada. Basic Computer Skills Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules, operations, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good communication and interpersonal skills
