What You Will Do

Assists in monitoring of care provided to residents, ensuring it aligns with the established plan by observing residents and reporting findings to immediate supervisor.

Assists in documenting information pertaining to the care of residents as directed.

Attends in‑service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.

Assists in onboarding of new staff as directed.

Follows IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.

What You Bring

Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.

Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.

Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.

Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents; understands basics of good sanitation and cleaning techniques and is knowledgeable regarding the needs of geriatric residents.

Salary Range: $26.66 - $28.63 per hour
