Purpose: The Student Health & Wellness Mentor Lead is responsible for providing peer support by sharing information and promoting programs and strategies for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. This role will also provide support to Student Health & Wellness Mentors. Education: Must be enrolled as a York student. Experience: Previous work experience may be considered. Skills: Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.Ability to understand and relate to others.Ability to collaborate and work with others to complete a shared goal.Ability to build and maintain relationships.Ability to provide insight and suggestions to support individuals in making informed decisions.Ability to demonstrate empathy and respond in a thoughtful manner.Ability to interpret and apply best practices, policies and procedures.
