Commercial Plumber (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, safety standards, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Plumber will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery. Duties - Installing and servicing plumbing systems in commercial/high-rise buildings - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively - Use hand tools, soldering power tools and propress tools to complete installations and repairs - Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate job tasks - Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance - Collaborate with construction teams on building projects involving plumbing components - Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning - Assist with carpentry or HVAC tasks when necessary to support project requirements - Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Requirements - Valid 306A Plumber License with Red Seal endorsement - Minimum 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience - Proven experience in commercial plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance - Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC, carpentry, and construction practices - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading - Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Capability of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments - Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to construction and plumbing work - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings - Must have a basic set of hand and power tools - Must have a reliable vehicle to travel between job sites This role offers an opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic team setting.
