You, as a Foreperson/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of landscape construction projects. Core Capabilities: - Customer and quality focus - Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) - Team work - Excellent problem solving abilities - Responsibility and dependability - Ethics and integrity Responsibilities: - Project & Site Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a landscape construction crew, including scheduling activities, managing site safety and quality, and assisting with site preparation. - Personnel & Training: Leading recruitment through secondary interviews, conducting in office safety orientations for new hires, and providing ongoing employee training to ensure compliance with company and government standards. - Technical Execution: Operating heavy equipment and various power tools, interpreting blueprints and structural drawings, and assisting with the construction of walkways, fences, and decks. - Maintenance & Administration: Performing daily preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring all daily site logs, attendance tracking, and billing summaries are completed accurately. Candidates must possess: - High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of experience in the landscape/construction industry. - Valid driver’s license - Ability to read blueprints, and strong communication skills. - Physically fit due to strenuous physical labor, including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly, working in various outdoor weather conditions, and maintaining flexible hours to meet project demands. - Experience with irrigation, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory. - A valid driver’s license is preferred. - Call-To-Action Ready to cultivate your career?
