Cleaner/Housekeeping (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is a plus. Prior experience in cleaning, laundry, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. The Cleaner will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service through thorough cleaning and organizational skills. Responsibilities - Perform residential or commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces - Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing or linens - Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms, including appliance cleaning and disinfecting - Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules - Organize cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficient workflow - Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences - Ability and flexibility to commute to various cleaning locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as required - Provide excellent customer service by ensuring spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times Experience - Prior experience in cleaning, residential cleaning, or hospitality industries is advantageous but not required - Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Excellent communication skills in English - Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Experience with laundry services and understanding of proper handling of delicate fabrics is preferred - Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively This position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating clean, comfortable environments while developing valuable skills in customer service and organization.
