Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Area Manager based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Area Manager will oversee and grow the company's presence in the region by developing robust relationships with customers, managing sales activities, and identifying new opportunities to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include setting and achieving sales targets, providing technical and product knowledge support, and ensuring excellent customer service. While some work can be conducted from home, regular in-person client visits and engagement will be required. Qualifications - Proven experience in sales management and business development with a strong understanding of market dynamics. - Excellent relationship-building, client management, and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of coatings, industrial sectors, or automotive refinish markets is a significant advantage. - Strong communication, presentation skills, and the ability to convey technical information effectively. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with sales forecasting tools is a plus. - Fluency in English; French language is a bonus. - Availability to travel within the region for client and business engagements as required. - A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
