The organization emphasizes a collaborative, fast-moving culture with clear accountability and opportunities to contribute to Amphenol's decentralized structure.Job Summary The Assistant Controller is a strategic business partner assisting the BU Controller, managing the company's financial, management and compliance functions. The Assistant Controller oversees general accounting and ensures compliance measures are in place. The position identifies and implements solutions to mitigate financial risk and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting. The role supports finance teams in China, Vietnam and Canada, with 2 direct reports.Duties And Responsibilities Manage the financial headquarters close process for the entire business unit.Oversee the financial reporting team for headquarters reporting.Support Internal Control Compliance for internal and external audits of business units' financials, including US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 testing and compliance. Own the quarterly review of all SOX controls.Maintain the monthly corporate reporting package and drive standardization of financial reporting across the organization, including monthly reporting into corporate and adherence to the defined close schedule.Ensure compliance with international, local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.Qualifications And Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred.Minimum six to eight years of professional experience in accounting or finance functions. Experience at a public accounting firm is a plus.Superior analytical and financial modeling capabilities with emphasis on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.Proficient with ERP processes and data.Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage staff and develop talent.40%–50% international travel required.Why Work For Us? Amphenol considers nondiscriminatory factors in determining pay, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and education.
