Our client, a highly regarded Toronto employment and workplace litigation boutique, is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3+ years of employment litigation experience to join its growing team. The Practice / File Exposure Lawyers at the firm work on a broad range of matters including: ➡️ Wrongful Dismissal & Constructive Dismissal Claims ➡️ Executive Compensation, Bonus & Severance Disputes ➡️ Human Rights, Workplace Harassment & Discrimination Matters ➡️ Long-Term Disability (LTD) Litigation ➡️ Restrictive Covenants & Employment Agreement Disputes ➡️ Workplace Investigations & Sensitive Workplace Conflict Matters ➡️ Partnership, Compensation & Business-Related Workplace Disputes This chance is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys a mix of advocacy, strategy, negotiation, and relationship-building — particularly someone who values sophisticated work without the traditional Bay Street structure. Key Responsibilities ➡️ Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution ➡️ Conduct client meetings and provide practical, strategic legal advice ➡️ Draft pleadings, applications, demand letters, mediation briefs, motion materials, and settlement documentation ➡️ Attend mediations, motions, hearings, discoveries, and settlement conferences ➡️ Work directly with clients on sensitive workplace and career-impacting matters ➡️ Collaborate closely with senior lawyers on litigation strategy and complex disputes ➡️ Participate in business development, networking, and long-term practice growth ➡️ Maintain strong file management and litigation timelines Qualifications ➡️ 3+ years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred) ➡️ Member in good standing with the Law Society of
