Data Entry Specialist - Banking (Markham)

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $21.27/hr Responsibilities - Review and input source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, and bills into appropriate data fields using keyboards or scanners - Verify and validate data accuracy, correcting errors identified during data entry processes - Audit and compare entered data against source documents to ensure consistency and completeness - Maintain detailed logs of activities and completed work for audit purposes - Manage multiple Excel spreadsheets, performing data analysis with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros - Collaborate with internal teams to review client information and ensure data integrity - Allocate approximately 30 minutes daily in meetings to coordinate tasks and updates Desired Skill-Set - 2-3 years of proven data entry experience within a financial or banking workplace - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Nice to Have - CSC certification - Previous experience working as a contractor at a financial institution - Knowledge of banking processes and documents BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
