Delivery Driver (Markham)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with commercial driving (will either be driving a Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter Van), and the ability to move and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 150lbs) when necessary. The Delivery Driver plays a vital part in maintaining our company's reputation for dependability and efficiency. Responsibilities - Safely operate delivery vehicles (Sprinter/Metris/Transit) to transport goods to assigned destinations - Assist with the loading and unloading of freight, utilizing heavy equipment as needed - Ensure accurate delivery of products while adhering to schedules and routes - Inspect vehicles regularly for safety and maintenance needs, reporting any issues promptly - Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs - Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve issues - Follow all safety protocols related to driving and handling heavy bulky/heavy cargo Experience - Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record - Prior experience in freight delivery or logistics preferred - Scheduling flexibility This role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring smooth operations and satisfied customers through dependable delivery services.
