Construction Worker (Markham)

Job Overview: We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper/Labourer to join our pool renovation team. You’ll be working directly with a senior technician to assist with various tasks involved in completing high-quality residential and commercial pool renovation projects. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and being part of a results-driven team. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with on-site job setup and preparation - Perform demolition of old materials and structures - Support with tiling, painting, and general finishing tasks - Help mix materials, cut tile, and organize tools - Maintain a clean and safe job site during and after work - Load and unload materials and equipment - Follow direction from the senior technician and other team leads - Perform other duties as required to support the renovation process Requirements: - Previous construction or general labour experience preferred but not required - Willingness to learn and work hard in outdoor and indoor environments - Comfortable with physical labour, lifting, and working in varied conditions - Basic knowledge of tools and materials is an asset - Punctual, reliable, and able to take direction well - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred What We Offer: - Full-time hours with opportunities for overtime - Competitive pay based on experience - On-the-job training and skill development - Supportive team setting with room to grow - Opportunities to advance in a specialized trade (tiling, renovation, etc.) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Additional pay: - Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: - English not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Experience: - Construction: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ouf86
