Construction Worker (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Overview We are hiring an experienced and skilled construction worker for basement renovation and legal basement projects in the GTA (Brampton and surrounding areas). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in residential basement finishing and be comfortable working across multiple trades. This is a full-time position for someone who can handle framing, basic plumbing, HVAC understanding, tile installation, door installation, and flooring work. Key Responsibilities - Basement framing (wood framing, partition walls, ceiling framing) - Basic plumbing rough-ins (drain lines, understanding venting systems is an asset) - HVAC-related work (duct layout assistance, vent installation, basic knowledge required) - Tile installation (bathrooms and flooring) - Door installation (interior doors, trimming, leveling) - Flooring installation (vinyl, laminate, hardwood if applicable) - General basement finishing work - Reading basic layout drawings and following site instructions - Maintaining clean and safe job site Requirements - Minimum 2–5 years experience in basement renovation or residential construction - Solid knowledge of framing and finishing work - Basic understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems used in basements - Experience with tile, flooring, and door installation - Ability to work independently or with a team - Must have own basic hand tools (preferred) - Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Assets (Not Mandatory but Preferred) - Experience in legal basement construction (Ontario Building Code knowledge) - Experience working in multi-trade renovation projects - Vehicle and valid driver’s license - Ability to read construction drawings Pay: $17.22-$30.91 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2osljn
