Landscaping Crew Member (on-call / flexible (floater) …, Markham

Overview We are seeking hardworking and reliable Crew Members to join our growing landscaping team at TeamForce Services. This role involves hands-on outdoor work across a variety of residential properties, including lawn care, garden maintenance, and landscaping projects. This is an on-call / flexible (floater) position, where work is assigned based on active projects. Shifts will vary week to week depending on job availability, and candidates will be contacted to confirm their availability for each shift. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically active, dependable, and looking to grow within a fast-paced, hands-on work environment. Candidates who perform well may be considered for a more consistent or full-time role after the probation period. Applicants must be located in Markham or Stouffville, as our team meets locally before heading to job sites. Responsibilities - Perform lawn care services including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing - Assist with garden bed cleanups, weed removal, and mulching - Support landscaping projects such as soil work, planting, and basic installations - Load, unload, and transport equipment to and from job sites - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and job sites - Follow instructions from team leaders to complete jobs efficiently and correctly - Ensure all work meets company quality standards before leaving the site - Adhere to safety guidelines while using tools and working outdoors Skills - Minimum 1–2 years of landscaping or outdoor labour experience required - Valid G or G2 driver’s license (must be able to drive) - Ability to perform physical labour (lifting, bending, working in outdoor conditions) - Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and reliability - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment. - Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company - Good marketing awareness and customer service skills are considered an asset - Must be available for on-call / flexible shifts - Must be legally eligible to work in Canada What We Offer - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunities for growth and increased responsibility - Supportive team setting - Consistent work during the season (based on project availability) - Opportunity to transition into a more stable or full-time role based on performance Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: - Company events - Flexible schedule - In office parking Application question(s): - Do you have a valid G or G2 driver’s license, and are you able to drive independently? - Do you have reliable transportation to reach job sites or the company location in Markham and Stouffville? - How many years of landscaping or outdoor labour experience do you have? - Are you currently located in or near Markham or Stouffville? - This is an on-call / flexible position where shifts vary based on projects.
