Architectural Representative Construction (Greater Toronto Area)

Job Overview The Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between Our Clients Product Line and Architectural firms, Designers, Contractors, and Developers. This role focuses on building relationships and securing specifications for projects. The ideal candidate is a sales-oriented qualified with a passion for building technologies, strong networking skills, and experience in the architectural or construction industry. This is a position with travel required, and reporting to the Sales Director. The prime market areas included industrial, commercial and institutional construction segments. Clients include owners, Architectural Firms, Corporate and Property Management, Engineers, Consultants and Distributors. Responsibilities - Conduct pre-sales activities including product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients. - Participate in market studies, particularly related to our Clients new and existing products. - Provide the regional director with data on the annual sales budget and expenses related to his territory activities. - Work independently to achieve regional objectives and develop business within the local market. - Communicate and liaise with industry professionals, Installers, Architectural Firms, Engineers, and Owners. - Maintain a professional presence in the industry and participate in industry activities and events. Requirements - The ideal candidate has experience in waterproofing, building envelope and insulation products. - Essential knowledge of the construction industry. - Familiarity with construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings. - Bilingual in French is an asset. - Being a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally. - Ability to develop and maintain a good relationship with our Team. - Be self-motivated and resourceful. - Organized and motivated individual. - Demonstrates high professional ethics, loyalty, and represents our Client with the highest standards in accordance with its guidelines. - Possesses basic computer skills, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Email, social networks, etc. - Has the necessary skills to integrate and daily use of internal IT tools for CRM, project management and others. Education Post Secondary experience is required A Background in architecture, building or materials engineering or relevant experience. Compensation We offer a strong compensation package based on industry experience.
