Cleaner/housekeeping Greater Toronto Area

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is a plus. Prior experience in cleaning, laundry, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. The Cleaner will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service through thorough cleaning and organizational skills. Responsibilities Perform residential or commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing or linens Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms, including appliance cleaning and disinfecting Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules Organize cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficient workflow Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences Ability and flexibility to commute to various cleaning locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as required Provide excellent customer service by ensuring spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times Experience Prior experience in cleaning, residential cleaning, or hospitality industries is advantageous but not required Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills in English Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with laundry services and understanding of proper handling of delicate fabrics is preferred Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively This position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating clean, comfortable environments while developing valuable skills in customer service and organization.
