Millenilink is hiring an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our growing team in either Downtown
Toronto or
Calgary. This role is a key part of our
mission to help clients build stronger, more innovative teams by connecting them with exceptional technical talent. This is not an HR role . It is a commercial, fast-moving, relationship-driven recruitment role that blends elements of inside sales, consulting, talent advisory, and candidate representation. Consistent activity, speed, relationship-building, and meeting placement expectations are central to success. Our Technical Recruiters combine high-activity (calls, coffees, lunches) with a consultative, relationship-first approach. You will act as a trusted partner to technical professionals, helping them evaluate career opportunities and advance into meaningful roles with organizations that align with their goals. You will build deep candidate networks, generate referrals, guide candidates through career decisions, and support Account Executives working with clients by bringing market insight, urgency, and execution. What You’ll Do - Identify, source, and qualify top technical professionals for client requirements - Drive strong weekly activity, including calls, pre-screens, submissions, networking, and candidate follow-up - Build long-term relationships with candidates through regular outreach, coffees, lunches, events, referrals, and market engagement - Conduct interviews and assess candidates beyond technical capability, including motivation, communication style, personality fit, and long-term alignment - Negotiate wages, manage offers, and support onboarding and consultant experience - Stay informed on the technology labour market and share insights internally and with candidates - Partner closely with Account Executives to support client hiring needs with speed, quality, and urgency - Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance, growth-oriented team environment What You Bring - 3+ years of agency recruitment experience, ideally in technology recruitment - Proven track record of meeting placement, KPI, and activity expectations - Strong sourcing ability using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, niche communities, and specialized user groups - Ability to build candidate pipelines through referrals, networking, market mapping, and long-term relationship development - Creative, solutions-oriented sourcing mindset to attract, engage, and screen niche technical talent - Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to assess soft skills, communication style, motivation, and cultural alignment - Ability to evaluate candidates holistically and understand their career drivers, motivations, and interpersonal dynamics - Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills - Competitive, driven mindset paired with a consultative, people-first approach - Ability to work with urgency while maintaining quality and professionalism Why Millenilink?
