Cleaner (Markham)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Duties - Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces - Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal results - Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal - Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed - Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning procedures - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly - Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and schedules Skills - Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently - Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads - Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour Perks - Casual dress - Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pckie
