Our 22,000 sq. ft. boutique-style store and growing e-commerce business serve families across the GTA and across Canada with premium products, expert advice and exceptional customer service. We are an entrepreneurial, quick-moving retail business operating across retail, e-commerce, and major online marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. The Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on Buyer to take ownership of product selection, inventory planning, and vendor relationships across our retail store and online platforms. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly influence sales, margins, inventory performance, and customer experience. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, digitally fluent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment where priorities can shift quickly. Key Responsibilities - Own purchasing and inventory planning across retail and e-commerce channels - Analyze sales performance, margins, inventory turns and sell-through to drive buying decisions - Manage vendor relationships including pricing, terms, assortment planning, and negotiations - Identify and onboard recent brands aligned with customer demand and market trends - Collaborate with marketing on product launches, promotions, and campaigns - Forecast demand and manage stock levels to minimize overstock and stock-outs - Oversee SKU setup, product data, and product lifecycle management - Support and optimize marketplace assortment across Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy - Use reporting tools, systems, and data analysis to improve inventory productivity and operational efficiency What We’re Looking For - 3–5 years of retail buying, merchandising, or inventory planning experience - Strong analytical and financial acumen including margin analysis, inventory turns, and forecasting - Proven ability to make independent buying decisions in a fast-paced environment - Experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through - Advanced Excel skills; Shopify or e-commerce platform experience is considered an asset - Strong systems aptitude with the ability to learn new tools and software quickly - Comfortable working in a highly digital retail environment - Experience using AI, automation tools, or reporting systems to improve efficiency is considered a strong asset - Experience in baby, lifestyle, specialty retail, or omni-channel retail is preferred Why Join Us - Direct impact on product assortment and business performance - Work closely with ownership in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment - Exposure to both retail and e-commerce operations - Opportunity to grow within an established and evolving business Compensation & Benefits $60,000–$70,000 per year - Paid vacation - Employee product discounts - On-site parking - Store discount Work Location In person – 72 Doncaster Avenue, Thornhill, Ontario How to Apply Please email your resume and a brief cover letter to .
