Construction Labourer (Greater Toronto Area)

Overview Must drive and have a car/truck to get to and from sites Willing to work hard Can easily take direction for specific tasks Duties - Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers - Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools - Perform general labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials - Assist with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures - Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools and supplies as needed - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols - Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project timelines are met efficiently Requirements - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions - Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality - Positive communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately - Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required - Knowledge of basic safety procedures on construction sites is preferred - Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors - Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements This role is essential for supporting successful construction projects while providing valuable industry experience.
