Overview We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Deck Helpers/General Labourers. This position is ideal for students and those looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing or construction environment. No prior experience is necessary, and we welcome applicants of all skill levels. The role involves assisting with various tasks related to deck construction, assembly, and general site support, providing valuable skills in a dynamic setting. Duties - Assist with the assembly and installation of decks using hand tools and power tools - Support team members in lifting, moving, and positioning materials and equipment - Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with tools or equipment - Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency - Follow safety protocols at all times during the execution of duties - Support warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and inventory management - Assist with the setup and breakdown of work sites for various projects Requirements - Ability to work safely around power tools, hand tools, and warehouse equipment - Mechanical knowledge or experience with manufacturing or assembly processes is a plus - Solid work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills - Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts - Students are welcome to apply; must be at least 18 years old for safety compliance - Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction or manufacturing environment This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking practical experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse operations while working in a supportive team environment.
