Housekeeping Room Attendant (Markham)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Duties - Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established standards of cleanliness. - Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. - Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies. - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. - Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when reordering is necessary. - Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests and responding to their needs. Requirements - Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles; hotel experience is preferred. - Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. - Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is a plus. - Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is beneficial. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently without supervision. - Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
