We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a growing and fast-paced team within the fire protection and service industry. The ideal candidate will come from industries such as fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or other service-based environments, with a strong understanding of the urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail required to manage high-volume invoicing efficiently. What You’ll Be Doing: - Prepare and process a high volume of invoices in QuickBooks with speed and accuracy - Extract and interpret information from handwritten work orders - Separate labor/services from parts to create detailed invoices - Manage accounts receivable transactions and customer accounts - Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies - Follow up on overdue payments via phone and email - Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations - Support bookkeeping and accounting administration as needed What We’re Looking For: - Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable and invoicing experience - Previous experience within a service-based company such as: - Fire Protection - HVAC - Plumbing - Electrical - Mechanical Services - Strong high-volume invoicing experience is required - Ability to work from handwritten work orders with excellent attention to detail - Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office - Excellent data entry speed and accuracy - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment Disclaimer: This is currently for an active job opportunity.
