Job Description Insurance Billing Representative Build valuable customer service and billing experience in the insurance sector while supporting inbound inquiries and account-related requests. This dynamic role offers a fast-paced environment, meaningful interactions with customers and internal teams, and the opportunity to contribute to a positive customer experience every day. What is in it for you: Hourly salary of $19.15. 9-month contract. Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week. Rotating shifts within call centre hours. Availability for evening and Saturday shifts is required. Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Saturday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in Markham office. Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to Licensed Insurance Advisors, Contact Centre staff, Insurance Branch staff, and customers. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with insurance partners and underwriters. Support inbound billing inquiries as a representative of the organization. Communicate clearly, effectively, and empathetically with customers through telephone and email interactions. Identify customer needs and respond appropriately and professionally. Gather relevant information in a systematic manner to ensure seamless customer interactions. Take ownership of customer inquiries and maintain a strong commitment to resolution and follow-up. Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day. What you will need to succeed: 1-2 years of experience in a contact centre environment, preferably within the insurance or banking industry. Ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Professional telephone and email communication skills and etiquette. Proficiency with word processing software, Microsoft Excel, and web-based Windows applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve customer concerns. Strong attendance and punctuality record. Flexibility to work rotating shifts. Why Recruit Action?
