General Accountant at Bayshore (Markham)

In this role, youll report to the Accounting Manager and be integral to the Controllership unit. Key tasks include financial analysis, month-end close support, and enhancing accounting systems. You will also collaborate with various teams, including Accounts Payable and Financial Planning, ensuring data integrity throughout all processes.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations • Manage timely entry and analysis for month-end closing • Analyze variances to identify financial discrepancies • Participate in year-end audits and reviews • Contribute to improving month-end closing procedures

Requirements: • Degree or diploma in accounting • CPA designation in progress is preferred • Minimum of two years related experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Strong analytical and time management skills
