About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a key entry‑level role within our HR team, with primary responsibility for full‑cycle recruitment across our national workforce. Approximately 70% of the role is recruitment; the remaining 30% provides exposure to broader HR functions including employee relations, HRIS administration, and HR project support. The role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and includes mentorship from our HR Generalist and HR Coordinators to support development across the HR function.Primary Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including intake meetings with hiring managers, job posting creation, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer preparation. Use Teamtailor (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track requisitions, and report on recruitment activity and metrics.Build and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and high‑volume roles. Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, set realistic timelines, and provide guidance on inclusive and compliant hiring practices. Coordinate and conduct initial phone screens, schedule and support panel interviews.Prepare onboarding packages, collect required employment documents, conduct orientation, and coordinate first‑day setup. Maintain accurate recruitment records and contribute to monthly reporting on recruitment duration, source effectiveness, and candidate funnel metrics. Support employer branding initiatives, and candidate experience improvements.Lead and manage participation in career fairs, including candidate engagement and promotion of available roles. Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain employee records in NetSuite (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Track probationary period milestones and provide timely reminders to managers. Monitor completion of required training and maintain documentation. Respond to general employee and external inquiries; escalate complex matters appropriately.Support HR projects, events, and reporting as assigned. Shadow and observe broader HR functions (employee relations, performance management, policy work) as part of structured development; lead activities will be assigned in alignment with role scope and risk tier. Qualifications Required
Completion of a post‑secondary program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (recent graduates welcome). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, employees, and hiring managers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ableto manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative HR team. Considered an Asset
Co‑op, internship, or up to one year of practical HR or recruitment experience. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Teamtailor or equivalent) and/or HRIS platforms (NetSuite or equivalent). Exposure to Canadian provincial employment legislation. What We Offer
