About the Role As a Technical Product Manager at Real Matters, you’ll become an expert of our platform and turn customer and business needs into platform capabilities that deliver measurable outcomes. You’ll partner and collaborate closely with our stakeholders and Engineering team to execute on the roadmap, translating requirements into clear technical specifications, and leading execution from discovery through release. As we evolve how we build AI‑enabled products, you’ll help identify high‑impact opportunities and ensure we ship high‑quality, scalable solutions. Responsibilities Partner with business units to understand goals, pain points, and desired outcomes Facilitate workshops to elicit, clarify, and prioritize requirements with cross‑functional stakeholders Document user stories, functional and non‑functional requirements, and acceptance criteria that Engineering can implement Map current‑state and future‑state processes, identifying gaps and dependencies Lead backlog refinement by ensuring requirements are clear, complete, and prioritized Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Operations to support delivery, testing, and release readiness Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test cases and validation Analyze operational and product data to validate outcomes, identify issues, and recommend improvements Create clear stakeholder communications (status, risks, decisions, and next steps) for internal teams Partner with Technical Operations to triage production issues and document root‑cause learnings and prevention actions Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and documentation e.g. summarizing inputs, drafting stories, and synthesizing feedback Help design and improve AI‑powered user experiences and workflows by setting clear requirements and making sure they are easy to use and work well with the system and its data Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent, Computer Science degree preferred 3+ years managing, defining and building SaaS based products 2+ years of technical experience, ideally as a Technical / System Business Analyst Product management or equivalent experience, with a track record of delivering web‑based products & services Technical knowledge in the areas of SaaS based systems, preferably transaction platforms, web service protocols (REST, SOAP), databases (MySQL), database UI tools, and various communication protocols Fluent in Agile development practices Familiarity with responsible‑AI practices (privacy/security, data governance, model limitations/bias) Ability to understand technical architecture of complex and scalable web applications Passion for designing simple, intuitive user experiences Must be comfortable and experienced with influencing and negotiating for priorities with senior leadership as well as technical teams Robust communication, client facing and presentation skills using PowerPoint & BI tools (e.g. Looker) Able to effectively manage clients and their expectations, including working under pressure to meet deadlines Familiar with GenAI suites such as MS Copilot, Anthropic’s Cowork, Atlassian’s Rovo Proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint or commensurate tooling Preferred Skills Mortgage appraisal background Certified Scrum Product Owner Knowledge of: XML formats, MISMO Hands‑on understanding of LLM/GenAI product patterns (RAG, agents, summarization, classification) and how to measure quality, cost, latency, and risk Experience working with Engineering and Data teams to run experiments (A/B tests), monitor models in production, and iterate based on user feedback Strong project management experience and user Working with logging systems such as Splunk to troubleshoot issues Experience building BI dashboards using Looker, PowerBI, etc. The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by people assigned to this job.
