Part-time Lifeguard/Swim Instructor, Brooks

Job Details&Responsibilities Part‑time Lifeguard day shifts at the EID Aquatic Centre. The role involves ensuring that pool and lifeguarding duties meet user, City, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

The successful applicant must be 16 years of age or older.

National Lifeguard Certificate, Standard First Aid Certification, and a Swim Instructor Certificate are required.

The candidate should be able to work well in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal, public‑relations, and communication skills.

Compensation&Benefits The 2026 wage range is $18.98 - $20.14 per hour. A free membership to the JBS Canada Centre is provided during employment.

Applicants who obtain a Swim Instructor Certification may be eligible for an increased wage range of $20.74 to $22.01 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

A clean criminal records check will be required before an offer of employment is presented to the successful applicant (18 years of age and older).
